The Potanin Foundation has announced the results of the 2025/2026 scholarship competition. This year, the programme attracted a record number of applicants—9,106 students, which is one-third higher than the previous year. Following the expert evaluation, 2,300 students advanced to the finals, with 1,000 ultimately becoming winners, including 671 first–year students and 329 second-year students from 71 universities across Russia.

Among the Potanin Foundation scholarship recipients are 11 students from Lobachevsky University: Ksenia Abasheva and Anastasia Tatarnikova (biotechnology), Daria Avlasenko and Alexandra Medyanik (biology), Nikolai Zagaynov (physics), Sergei Zubov (international relations), Polina Kortikova and Vyacheslav Safonov (chemistry), Ivan Pervushin and Irina Potapova (psychology), and Anna Fedotova (philology).
