The UNN Faculty of Social Sciences invites last-year undergraduate students to take part in the selection round for the International Master Programme “Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies” (IMCEERES). Programme participants can receive a scholarship covering tuition and living expenses abroad.

IMCEERES is a unique international Master programme implemented by a consortium headed by the University of Glasgow (UK). The programme is designed to train highly qualified professionals with international experience for working in public administration, international organisations and associations, higher education and business.

As a result of the programme, students can emerge with two Masters degrees: a joint International Masters (IntM) degree from the University of Glasgow (UK) and the University of Tartu (Estonia), and a degree from one of consortium member universities depending on the specialisation chosen by the student.

During the first two semesters of the programme, students will study at the University of Tartu and the University of Glasgow, respectively. In the third semester, the programme participants will continue their studies at one of the consortium's partner universities in Eurasia: Lobachevsky University, Budapest Korvin University (Hungary), Jagiellonian University (Poland), Sarajevo University (Bosnia and Herzegovina), KIMEP University (Kazakhstan), Ilia State University (Georgia). During the fourth semester, students will work on their theses and can complete an additional period of study abroad.

In October 2020, the UNN Faculty of Social Sciences presented this programme at the international Erasmus Days 2020 event, where the project's academic coordinator from the University of Glasgow gave the programme highlights. You can watch the video here.

Advantages of the programme:
