The graduation ceremony for the first students of the International Relations and Strategic Thinking Master's Programme at Lobachevsky University's Institute of International Relations and World History (IIRWH) took place on August 8, 2022. Eight international graduates received their degrees.

Alexander Knyazev, UNN Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech:

"Graduation is certainly an important event in a young person's life. I hope that the knowledge that you have acquired at IIRWH will help you in your future life, and the experience that you have gained during the study will be successfully applied in the countries where you will return. Over the years, you got to know Russia and the language and mentality of our country, and I hope that you enjoyed it. We, in turn, always try to maintain a warm relationship with all of our graduates. I congratulate you and wish you every success in your future lives and careers! "

Eight international students received their diplomas from Lobachevsky University, and four of them graduated with honours.

"We are pleased that in 2022 we are recruiting new students who are interested in this Master's programme taught in English. This graduation is a milestone in our work with international students that will be continued, we want our graduates to go further and spread the word about Lobachevsky University," said Mikhail Rykhtik, Director of UNN IIRWH.

The International Relations and Strategic Thinking programme meets high international standards, and the degree is recognised by employers around the world. This two-year programme aims to train professionals and experts in international relations for government and international organisations and municipalities, non-governmental organisations, consultancies, academia and the media.
