Lobachevsky University will host over 400 representatives of the scientific community from 12 countries.

The "Science without Borders" Forum of Young Scientists from the CIS countries will be held on November 1-4, 2022 at Lobachevsky University. The event will be part of a large-scale programme to mark the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which will be celebrated in 2024.

The Forum is organised by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the CIS Executive Committee, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region,  Lobachevsky University, and the Skolkovo Foundation.

The opening ceremony of the forum will be held on November 1 at 14:00 with the participation of the leadership of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the CIS Executive Committee, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Lobachevsky University, and the Skolkovo Foundation. An online webcast of the ceremony and strategic session "Practical Aspects of Implementation of the CIS Interstate Programme for Innovation Cooperation" will be provided on the official website of the event www.sciencecis.ru.

During the forum, academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences will give plenary lectures to young researchers. Panel discussions and roundtables are planned on the interaction of academies of sciences, universities and the real sector of the economy, expansion and strengthening of scientific and technological ties between young scientists of the CIS countries. The participants will present their reports within the thematic panels: "Artificial Intelligence", "Technologies of the Future", "New Materials", "Comfortable Environment", "Healthy Generation", "Food Security", "Preserving Heritage", "Creative Personality".

A collection of research papers will be published following the forum.
