On December 10-14, a team from the Lobachevsky University Typhloinformation Centre held master classes and roundtables in Krasnoyarsk and Khanty-Mansiysk. These educational events were focused on the use of modern information technologies for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the visually impaired.

Taking part in the roundtable discussions were representatives of the authorities and professionals from various organisations working with blind and visually impaired persons. They exchanged experience and discussed topical issues related to the development of digital literacy for the visually impaired and the dissemination of typhloinformation technologies in social practices.

As the UNN Typhloinformation Centre pointed out, the master classes were aimed at a wide circle of sight-impaired persons, both those who already use computers and mobile devices and those who, for whatever reason, still have doubts about the need to use modern technology. The participants of the master classes got acquainted with a wide range of computer and mobile applications that help blind and visually impaired people in education, professional activities and everyday life.
