Huawei delegation visits Lobachevsky University

On February 22, a delegation from Huawei company visited Lobachevsky University. The delegation included the Director of the Huawei Research Center in Nizhny Novgorod Zhang Xin, representatives of Huawei design and development departments Xu Zhi, Хie Zhiqiang, Zheng Miao, chief engineer Wang Hua and others. The guests were welcomed by Victor Kazantsev, Vice-Rector for Research, Alexander Bedny, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Nikolai Agudov, Director of the UNN Engineering Center. Chinese experts were offered a presentation about Lobachevsky University and met with a number of leading scientists of the UNN who introduced them to their research results in the fields of telecommunications, laser physics, physics of solids, chemistry and engineering. Prospects for cooperation between Lobachevsky University and Huawei in the areas of mutual interest were discussed.
