Huawei delegation visits Lobachevsky University

On June 18, a delegation of Huawei company headed by Zhou Hong, director of the Russian Research Institute, visited Lobachevsky University.

The delegation also comprised Wang Zhiying, Head of the department of mathematical research and algorithms, Yang Liuqing, Head of the department for cooperation with educational institutions, Zhang Xin, Director of the Research Center in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as  leading engineers and managers of the company.

The guests were welcomed by Kirill Markov, Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University, Alexander Bedny, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Olga Petrova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Nikolai Agudov, Deputy Head of the International Office. In the course of the visit, the University and Huawei representatives discussed various issues concerning cooperation in the field of education and the development of joint educational programs.

Chinese guests  were also informed about R&D results of Lobachevsky University in the field of IT technologies.
