“I'm in Business” project continues at Lobachevsky University
UNN Competence Centre in cooperation with the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science organises events of the youth entrepreneurship development program “I'm in Business”. Students of the Institute of Economics, Faculty of Chemistry and the Institute of Clinical Medicine - more than 200 people in total - have already taken part in the business games at the university. The project will be continued at other faculties of Lobachevsky University.
The project is aimed at shaping entrepreneurial thinking and developing entrepreneurial competencies. It is also a great opportunity to improve students’ skills and work on real business cases.
The Youth Entrepreneurship Development Programme allows students to gain their first entrepreneurial experience. It involves students from more than 500 Russian universities, including those from new regions.
“The educational programme of youth entrepreneurship “I'm in Business” has been implemented since 2022. Its goal is to form a community of young professionals-mentors from among active young people to implement social and entrepreneurial projects, help in self-identification and career guidance. The program is free of charge, it includes an initial educational cycle aimed at improving the level of entrepreneurial literacy and forming a community of young mentors in Russia. Economic games in universities are conducted by past graduates of the programme, some of whom have developed active businesses and startups,” said Associate Professor Elena Livanova, Head of the UNN Competence Center.
The programme is organised by the “CAPTAINS” Charitable Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the Ministry of Public Education and Rosmolodezh.
