IITMM students win prizes at Northern Eurasia Finals
Students from the UNN Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics took third place at the Northern Eurasia Finals. The best 300 teams from 75 universities in Russia and the CIS took part in the championship finals. 160 of them competed in St. Petersburg, including four teams from Lobachevsky University.
The Northern Eurasia Region Student Programming Championship is a stage of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), the largest international programming competition for students.
Northern Eurasia Finals winners qualify for the ICPC finals, which have been won many times by programmers from Russia; in 2021, the Lobachevsky University team won at the ICPC Moscow finals.
Based on the results of the finals in St. Petersburg, three UNN teams (1st team - Mikhail Burdukov, Artyom Sukharev, Denis Kulandin, 2nd team - Damir Sadikov, Vladislav Polozov, Alexey Kruglov, 3rd team - Vladislav Devlikamov, Alexander Lebedev, Alexey Petukhov) were awarded with third degree diplomas.
