Information session on academic exchange programmes held by Lobachevsky University and Tashkent State University of Law
During the international partnership days, Lobachevsky University and Tashkent State University of Law held a joint information session on student exchange programmes.
Academic mobility programmes for UNN Faculty of Law students for the year 2023 were presented at the meeting. These programmes are a logical consequence of the close cooperation between UNN and TSUL, which started in 2022 with the launch of a joint (network) Bachelor's degree programme in Law. Currently, there are 24 students enrolled in this programme.
The information session brought together more than 170 second- and third-year law students. The session was welcomed by Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Dilshod Umarov, TSUL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation. Dean of the TSUL Faculty of Public Law Shakhzod Saydullaev, Dean of the TSUL Faculty of Criminal Justice Dildora Kamalova, Dean of the TSUL Faculty of International and Comparative Law Dildora Umarkhanova, and Dean of the TSUL Faculty of Private Law Bekzod Musaev made a presentation of educational programmes for the students of the UNN Faculty of Law.
The meeting was also attended by Konstantin Kemaev, Deputy Vice-Rector of Lobachevsky University, Evgeniya Chernykh, Dean of the UNN Faculty of Law, and Andrey Leonov, Deputy Dean. They told the students about the basic rules of international academic mobility, advantages and opportunities for students who gain such experience of international communication. They also shared their own experience of participation in international exchange programmes. At the end of the information session, the participants answered the students' questions.
The student exchange programme is one more step towards strengthening relations between the Faculty of Law of Lobachevsky University and the leading law university in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
