InfoWatch Group of Companies and Lobachevsky University have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of education. The document was signed by Oleg Trofimov, Rector of Lobachevsky University, and Natalia Kasperskaya, President of InfoWatch Group, as part of the 11th “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” conference (CIPR-2026).

The primary goal of the partnership is to collaborate in the field of IT education and to enhance the preparation of future IT professionals. In particular, InfoWatch Group and Lobachevsky University intend to foster research activities with students, advance educational and research programs, and refine training courses with a focus on practical skills and knowledge that will benefit graduates in their future careers. InfoWatch Group will soon supply the university with laboratory facilities equipped with InfoWatch ARMA software and the InfoWatch Traffic Monitor DLP system for classroom instruction. Furthermore, plans include organising joint educational initiatives, internships and practical training for students, and engaging experts in the development of research papers and articles.

"Lobachevsky University is consistently developing its IT field. Our work is based on scientific schools established by prominent scholars and on fundamental research that is translated into applied projects. Cooperation with InfoWatch Group scales up this experience and opens up new opportunities that will allow students to master the most modern tools and try themselves in conditions as close as possible to a professional environment. The partnership with InfoWatch strengthens the bridge between education and practice, helping graduates to confidently begin their professional journey," noted Oleg Trofimov, Rector of Lobachevsky University.

"Establishing the partnership with Lobachevsky University is an important step in the development of InfoWatch Group's academic programme, which will contribute to the development of modern, practice–oriented education. It is impossible to train information security specialists without teaching them how to work with an up-to-date technology stack. UNN students will have the opportunity to learn from the same InfoWatch solutions that protect critical information infrastructure in companies across the country. This means that graduates will be ready to start work immediately, rather than spending a long time on further education – this is important both for young professionals and for their future employers," said Natalia Kasperskaya, President of InfoWatch Group.
