International Conference “Materials Science of the Future: Research, Development, Scientific Training”

On February 12, the International Conference “Materials Science of the Future: Research, Development, Scientific Training” opened at Lobachevsky University. The conference was organized by Lobachevsky University jointly with the All-Russian public organization “Russian Professorial Assembly”. The guests were welcomed by Kirill Markov, Acting Rector of the UNN, Andrei Panarin, Head of the Executive Office of the Russian Professorial Assembly, and Alexander Knyazev, Dean of the UNN Faculty of Chemistry. Conference participants, chemical scientists who came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Kazan, Perm, Krasnoyarsk, Vladikavkaz, Voronezh, Tver, Arkhangelsk, Saransk, Murmansk, as well as from Poland, France, Britain, Germany, Serbia, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Brazil and Indonesia, will discuss the current state of affairs and development prospects in all areas of materials science, the training of highly qualified personnel, and closer consolidation of Russian science, business and higher education to solve fundamental and applied problems.
