International conference "Volga Neuroscience Meeting 2021"

On August 24-27, the international conference "Volga Neuroscience Meeting 2021" (VNM-2021) will be held at the suburban hotel "Chaika". Lobachevsky University is one of the conference organizers. This year, more than 120 scientists from all over the world will discuss the latest discoveries in molecular neuroscience, cognitive science, brain-machine interface development, biophotonics and computer technology application in medicine. The conference will also include a workshop on Molecular Mechanisms of Ageing moderated by Professor Claudio Franceschi (University of Bologna, Italy).

The conference will be held with the support of the IBRO Meetings Support (Pan-Europe) programme, which provides travel grants to young foreign scientists on a competitive basis; and with the support of the Photonics Research Centre and grants of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

Volga Neuroscience Meeting is a traditional conference organised by Lobachevsky University since 2016. Last time it took place in 2018 on board the riverboat “Mikhail Frunze” cruising from Nizhny Novgorod to Samara and back to Nizhny Novgorod.
