International students meet with Lobachevsky University administration
On 11 July, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Networking Alexander Bedny and Vice-Rector for Administration and Facilities Alexander Sychev met with international student activists to discuss various issues and answer the students’ questions.
During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the development of UNN infrastructure. International students expressed their ideas and wishes on how to make their stay on the campus and accommodation in dormitories more comfortable and convenient. The students were particularly interested in the possibilities of providing spaces for various activities and organising leisure time, as most international students stay at the University for the period of summer holidays.
Answering the students' questions, Alexander Sychev, Vice-Rector for Administration and Facilities, noted that a wide range of measures aimed at improving the efficiency of UNN infrastructure functioning is currently in progress. In his turn, he asked the student self-government leaders from among international students to take a more active part in creating and developing comfortable living conditions.
In addition to the issues related to the organisation of international students’ free time, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Networking Alexander Bedny stressed the importance of implementing various student initiatives and, in particular, noted that currently international students demonstrate great activity by participating in various projects.
