International students of Lobachevsky University meet with schoolchildren of Nizhny Novgorod

International students of Lobachevsky University met with Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren participating in the supplementary educational programme "Lobachevsky. Summer. Smart Vacations".

On June 29, students from Egypt organised an educational quiz for children. School students learned about history and traditions of Egypt, asked questions and competed for the title of the best expert on Egyptology. In the second part of the event, participants had a chance to demonstrate their knowledge of geography and take a quiz entitled "World Capitals". The winners of the quizzes received souvenir prizes with Egyptian symbols.

On the next day, the meeting with UNN international students was in a different format. Students from Serbia, Algeria and Syria prepared a sports and entertainment programme for the pupils, where the children took part in a football match and learned about national outdoor games.

The meetings proved to be vivid, informative and interesting both for foreign students and for schoolchildren, and the participants expressed their hope that similar events would be held in the future.
