International students of Lobachevsky University take part in the Orthodox Exhibition-Fair

On February 15, 2018, first-year foreign students of the UNN Institute of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Mechanics took part in the International Orthodox Exhibition-Fair "Wide Shrovetide". At the exhibition, the students got acquainted with Russian culture, national costumes, traditional dishes and crafts of the Nizhny Novgorod region and had a unique opportunity to learn about pottery and weaving art. They also had a master class on Russian folk dances and tried different kinds of honey and sweets. Thanks to this event, young people from foreign countries studying at Lobachevsky University familiarized themselves with the Russian culture, its original traditions and customs.
