International students visit the Family Reading Center

On October 28,  international students of Lobachevsky University were invited to one of Nizhni Novgorod libraries,  the Family Reading Center, to take part in the round table entitled "Roads of the World " timed to the World tourism day.Nizhni Novgorod Industrial College students, as well as teachers and students of Nizhni Novgorod schools, library employees and some special guests also took part in the discussion. In their opening presentations, library workers introduced  foreign students to the history of tourism development in the world and in Russia. 

The students watched several videos about travelling, and then each guest shared the information about the possibilities of leisure tourism in their countries  and  introduced the audience to their countries’ geography and history. Secondary school students expressed their genuine interest in foreign students’ presentations. At the end of the event, there was a tea party with home-made pies. All the participants thanked the organizers of the meeting for the warm and friendly atmosphere and expressed their hope for fruitful cooperation with the Family Reading Center in the implementation of future projects.
