International summer school "Practice of Android application development" starts at Lobachevsky University

For the third year in a row, Lobachevsky University holds an international summer school “Practice in Android App Development and Using Big Data” for senior-year students of leading Mexican universities, who arrived to Lobachevsky University within the cooperation with ALAR association.

At the opening ceremony on July 22, students were greeted by Irina Leonova, Director of the UNN International Affairs Department. She told the summer school participants about Lobachevsky University, its international activities and scientific achievements. In the framework of the IT school, talented programmers from leading universities in Mexico attend theoretical and practical programming classes.  During one month, students will learn the basics of developing mobile applications for the Android platform, the basics of data mining and the technology of working with Big Data. They will also get acquainted with the culture of Russia and the Russian language.
