International summer schools at Lobachevsky University

From July 16 to August 18, the UNN hosts two international summer schools for foreign students from China, Taiwan, Singapore, Belgium, Serbia, Mexico, Libya, Iraq and South Korea. "The Russian Summer" school has been held annually since 2010 attracting students from different countries interested in the Russian language. The program includes intensive classes in the Russian language, lectures on history, folklore and art of Russia, as well as master classes on folk crafts and Russian cuisine. In addition to classes, students attend cultural events: excursions to historical places, museums and enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region, conversation clubs. The summer IT school, first organized in 2017, is becoming popular and will be held for the second time. Within the framework of the IT school, talented students majoring in programming from leading universities in Mexico attend theoretical and practical classes in programming, they also have ample opportunities to get acquainted with the culture of Russia and the Russian language.
