Three international summer schools for international students from the USA, France, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Mexico, China and Poland will be held from June 5 to August 6 by the UNN Faculty for International Students. They include the traditional schools "Russian Summer" and "The Russian language and culture program for students from leading foreign universities".  

The programs feature intensive classes in the Russian language, lectures on history, political system, folklore and art of Russia, as well as master classes in folk crafts and Russian cuisine. Students also attend a variety of cultural events, visit historical places, museums and enterprises of Nizhni Novgorod and the Nizhni Novgorod region, foreign language conversation clubs. 

This year, for the first time Lobachevsky University holds its new international summer school "The practice of developing Android-applications and using Big Data" for students from Mexico’s leading universities. In the framework of this program, Mexican IT students will attend theoretical and practical programming classes and will be introduced to the culture of Russia and the Russian language.

Such summer schools are an important component of Lobachevsky University’s international outreach efforts.
