Iranian delegation visits Lobachevsky University

On 21 December, an official delegation from Iran visited Lobachevsky University to explore the possibility of bilateral scientific cooperation in the fields of energy, climate and atmospheric research.

The guests were welcomed by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny and Vice-Rector for Research Mikhail Ivanchenko.

The head of the Iranian delegation, Dr. Tajmir Riahi, Head of the Centre for Development and Exploitation of New Atmospheric Water Technologies under the Ministry of Energy of Iran, highly appreciated the results of the meeting and offered proposals for enhancing research cooperation. The parties agreed to hold further consultations and identify priority topics for future bilateral cooperation.

Lobachevsky University extends its thanks to the Department of International Relations of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nizhny Novgorod for their support in organising the meeting.
