Joint educational programmes to be developed by UNN and universities in Kazakhstan

Lobachevsky University has signed cooperation agreements with three leading universities in Kazakhstan:

• Abay National Pedagogical University (Almaty);
• Satpayev National Research Technical University (Almaty);
• Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Shymkent).

The parties have already begun practical activities to implement various forms of collaboration. Thus, on March 17, 2022 representatives of Lobachevsky University and Satpayev National Research Technical University held a working meeting to discuss cooperation details.

The parties decided that the main type of mutual cooperation between the universities should be joint educational programmes in different areas. Representatives of the universities agreed to consider the possibility of developing a joint master's programme in project management and exchanged relevant curricula.

Specific steps were also discussed to implement  academic mobility of students and organize open lectures of leading experts from Lobachevsky University and Satpayev University. They also reached an agreement on opportunities for participation of faculty members from our universities in scientific and educational events held at partner universities.
