Law graduates from Lobachevsky University ranked in the top list in terms of salaries

Lobachevsky University has secured the 8th position in Russia's university ranking based on the income levels of young legal professionals. The study was conducted by SuperJob. Over the past year, UNN has climbed one spot higher in the ranking. The average monthly salary of law graduates from Lobachevsky University has gone up by 12,000 roubles and now amounts to 127,000 roubles. It is worth noting that 65% of young lawyers choose to pursue their careers in their home region, staying to work in Nizhny Novgorod.

The SuperJob study, which includes both classical and specialised law universities across the country, examined employment data for young professionals who graduated between 2020 and 2025. The analysis was based on a vast database of over 50 million resumes, with strict selection criteria applied. For each university, at least 70 questionnaires of graduates from relevant faculties were analysed, excluding interns and junior specialists with less than a year of work experience.

The study included both frontline and managerial roles in corporate law, judicial protection, legal consulting, international law, tax and customs regulation, and legal support for transactions, all posted no more than 365 days before the study's release. At least half of the questionnaires analysed were from young professionals who had already secured jobs matching their income expectations.
