Living without stress: master class for international students
On March 3, experts from Lobachevsky University’s Centre for Social and Psychological Support of Students will hold a master class for international students on "Emotional Well-Being and Coping with Stress". The master class will be held in English in a face-to-face format.
Every person is familiar with the state of stress. We face it every day and get used to thinking the same way, feeling the same way and behaving the same way in stressful situations. It is necessary to break the habitual circle, when our thoughts cause certain feelings and provoke certain behaviour. Participants will learn how they can change their thoughts and their behaviour in order to get rid of stress. They will be offered some practical tools for breaking out of habitual coping mechanisms when confronted with stressful situations.
International students will learn some techniques that will help them think differently and do things differently, and thus achieve emotional well-being.
Date and time: March 3, 15:30.
Venue: Nizhny Novgorod, Universitetsky Pereulok, 7, room 306 (UNN Faculty of Social Sciences).
