Lobachevsky University and Rossotrudnichestvo sign a cooperation agreement

On December 14, Lobachevsky University and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement signed by Rector Evgeny Chuprunov and Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Agency Lyubov Glebova aims to foster cooperation in the development, promotion and support of Russian education abroad.

Under the agreement,  the parties will jointly organize and conduct summer schools, study periods for students, Russian language training programs for foreign citizens, practical training for UNN students at the central office and foreign representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo, internships for postgraduate students and faculty members of UNN who specialize in the promotion of international cooperation in education, science and culture. In the framework of cooperation, Rossotrudnichestvo will also assist in organizing UNN’s participation in language competitions held abroad and other activities aimed at the promotion of education in Russia and the Russian language.
