From March 22 to March 24, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for international Students, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UNN Admission Board Konstantin Kemaev took part in selection tests for Serbian candidates intending to receive state scholarships for studies in Russia within the framework of the intergovernmental quota of the Russian Federation. A total of over 200 candidates took part in qualifying tests in Serbia in 2017. At the Russian House in Belgrade, with the participation of the staff of the Russian Culture and Science Center, interviews were held with the candidates whose portfolios had been approved before. Konstantin Kemaev also consulted Serbian entrants on various issues related to their future studies in Russia, the adaptation of foreign students, the possibility of receiving additional scholarships from universities, the procedures for recognition of educational documents, etc.

In the course of the visit, an agreement was reached on further cooperation between  Lobachevsky University and the Russian House in Belgrade. The parties discussed the  mechanisms for cooperation in the organization of student selection, promotion of UNN’s educational programs, interaction with Russian-language schools, as well as participation of Lobachevsky University in the Russian language Olympiad in Serbia. Within the framework of the UNN Serbian Center’s activities, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Philological Faculty of the Belgrade University, where technical details of the student mobility between the UNN and the Belgrade University were discussed. The program will be launched in the autumn semester of this year.
