Lobachevsky University applies for "Priority-2030" programme 

On August 5, Lobachevsky University completed the preparation of documents and submitted its application for participation in the "Priority-2030" programme. 

"We have just submitted our application to participate in the "Priority-2030" competition. Our university qualifies for a good mark. I hope we have a very strong application and it will appeal to the expert community. We like it ourselves. Lobachevsky University's application this year is a bit unusual. In addition to our traditional science and technology areas, in which we have always been very strong, we have also included a new strategic project in the social sciences and humanities, where our humanities faculties are clearly represented. The application is comprehensive, integral — it is about today, about tomorrow, about the distant future of our university. Therefore, I believe the application has every chance of success. Let's wish it to win, and we will actively pursue it!" - Rector Elena Zagaynova said after submitting the application. 

The "Priority-2030" programme was launched during the Year of Science and Technology and is the most ambitious programme to support universities in Russia's history. The aim of the programme is to form a broad group of universities, which will become leaders in the creation of new scientific knowledge, technologies and R&D products for implementation in the Russian economy and social sphere.
