Lobachevsky University athletes take part in SELL Student Games 2018

From May 18 to May 20, the XXXIV International Student Baltic Games "SELL GAMES 2018" were held in the Estonian city of Tartu. The delegation of Lobachevsky University took part in the Games for the 13th time. Our athletes took part in swimming, badminton, Greco-Roman wrestling and table tennis competitions. The Games were held under the patronage of EUSA - the European Association for Student Sport and FISU - the International Federation of Student Sport. Over 1150 athletes from 49 universities of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Finland, Russia, and China took part in this year’s Baltic Games. The Russian delegation at the games was represented by Lobachevsky University, Pskov State University and Kalmyk State University. The UNN team won a total of 20 medals: 9 in wrestling, 8 in swimming and 3 in badminton, which is undoubtedly a great incentive for further sports victories of Lobachevsky University athletes.
