The journal was recently re-registered with the State Committee for Press; as a result, seven universities became its direct founders: Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, Kemerovo State University, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Petrozavodsk State University, Tomsk State University, and Ural Federal University.

The journal "University Management: Practice and Analysis" is an international peer-reviewed and open access journal. The journal publishes original articles with theoretical and applied research results, and case studies of best practices in the field of university management.
