Lobachevsky University Choir wins its 10th gold medal!

On December 11-13, the Lobachevsky University Choir conducted by Larisa Erykalova took part in the Rimini International Choral Competition 2020 (Italy). This year, 55 choirs from 20 countries competed for the awards. In the category "Folklore", the Choir was the absolute winner and received a gold medal and gold diploma of the Rimini International Choral Competition. In the categories "Mixed Choirs" and "Spiritual Music", it was awarded silver diplomas. 

Lobachevsky University Choir is one of the oldest student choirs in Nizhny Novgorod. In 2020, the Choir celebrated its 70th anniversary. Lobachevsky University Choir is the champion of the World Choir Games and has 10 gold medals of prestigious international competitions.
