Moreover, the Choir received the Audience Award, and the Choir Director Larisa Erykalova was awarded the special prize "Best Conductor".
"This was our first time in Omsk over the 75-year history of the Choir. We are very happy that in our Choir's anniversary year we took part in such a significant event that brought together more than 50 ensembles. I can note the excellent organisation of the festival and a rich programme. We had several performances: in the organ hall of the Omsk Philharmonic Society, at the concert hall, and at the Vrubel Museum of Fine Arts. The whole team was very good. We are always determined to win, and we go to any competition fully prepared. Experience, hard work and diligence always give excellent results. We always get an enthusiastic reception!", said Larisa Erykalova, the Choir's artistic director and chief conductor.
