Lobachevsky University co-sponsors Russian Language Week in Mexico

Lobachevsky University has co-organised the Week of Russian Language, Science and Culture in Mexico, hosted  by the Latin America - Russia Association (ALAR).

Teachers of the UNN Centre for Educational Programs for Foreign Nationals held a series of online classes for participans from Central and South American countries and introduced them to the basics of the Russian language, Russian culture and Russia's history.

An important event of the Russian Language, Science and Culture Week was the round table on the practical aspects of teaching Russian as a foreign language organised by Lobachevsky University. It brought together teachers of the Russian language from around the world.

At the conclusion of the week, the results of the Russian language poetry recitation competition were announced, where Lobachevsky University teachers of Russian acted as jury members.
