Lobachevsky University delegation takes part in educational events in Uzbekistan

UNN representatives Liliya Erushkina, Deputy Head of the Department of International Affairs and Ekaterina Smirnova, Head of the Center for Educational Programs for Foreign Citizens, took part in a series of educational events in the Republic of Uzbekistan organized by the Agency for Cooperation in Education with the support of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Uzbekistan. The aim of the events was to popularize Russian professional education and to attract compatriots and local citizens from the Republic of Uzbekistan to study in the Russian Federation. The events included exhibitions and presentations of leading universities in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, as well as meetings with potential applicants. In Tashkent, the educational and research opportunities of Lobachevsky University for foreign citizens were showcased at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. Applicants and their parents showed considerable interest in the materials presented by UNN faculty members. In Samarkand, a meeting was organized with representatives of Samarkand State University, where participants discussed possible areas of cooperation with Russian universities.
