Lobachevsky University delegation visits Indonesia

A delegation from Lobachevsky University has arrived in Indonesia on an official visit.

The first institution to be visited was the Islamic University of Indonesia, the first Indonesian university with which UNN established relations in 2021. During the meeting, the parties conducted detailed negotiations focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and developing joint educational and research initiatives.

The participants considered several promising areas for cooperation, including the development of joint education programmes in chemistry and economics, the establishment of short-term internships for students and faculty, and the launch of semester-long exchange programmes in medicine.Representatives from both institutions emphasised their mutual commitment to strengthening the partnership and identified specific measures to implement the proposed projects. 

The UNN delegation also visited Nahdlatul Ulama University in Yogyakarta, where a series of working meetings was held, following which the parties signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation. The agreement formalised the universities' intentions to develop joint projects and share expertise in priority fields. Economics and information technology were identified as the main areas of cooperation.

In the course of the talks, the following issues were discussed: opportunities for implementing joint research projects, academic mobility programmes for students and faculty, and organising joint conferences and workshops.
