On October 12, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny held talks with Luboš Cibák,  Rector of the School of Economics and Management of Public Administration in Bratislava  (VŠEMvs). The meeting took place in the framework of the visit to the Nizhny Novgorod region of the delegation headed by Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Ivan Korčok aiming to strengthen trade, industrial, scientific and educational relations.

During the round table held at the Corporate University of the Nizhny Novgorod region’s Government with representatives of business and academic circles of both countries, Alexander Bedny and the Rector of the Slovak university discussed the prospects of cooperation between UNN and VŠEMvs in the fields of economics and information and communication technologies (ICT). In particular, such issues as joint participation in the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme for students and teaching staff members, summer and winter schools, language courses and the implementation of a joint Master's programme in IT were discussed.

The School of Economics and Management of Public Administration in Bratislava  (VŠEMvs) is a private higher education institution founded in 2004 in Bratislava, which cooperates closely with Slovak IT companies and provides training in public administration and regional development.
