Lobachevsky University develops cooperation with universities in Belarus

On 28 October, an online meeting was held of the working group on cooperation in education and science under the Business Cooperation Council of the Republic of Belarus and the Nizhny Novgorod region. Representatives of Belarusian universities and authorities discussed cooperation prospects with their Nizhny Novgorod colleagues. 

Lobachevsky University was  represented by Alexander Bedny, Vice-Rector for International Affairs. During the meeting, a number of proposals were voiced by Lobachevsky University to strengthen cooperation with Belarusian partners (Belarusian State University, Polessky State University, Belarusian State Medical University, Vitebsk State University, Polotsk State University). The proposed cooperation areas include: expanding the network of partner universities; development of academic mobility programmes for students and teaching staff (including virtual mobility); development of network education programmes for Master’s and PhD students.
