Lobachevsky University hosts participants of the forum "Russia - a country of opportunities"

On March 17, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Lobachevsky University hosted a number of events in the framework of the forum "Russia - a country of opportunities". In particular, a meeting was held between foreign participants of the forum and some members of Lobachevsky University leadership and UNN students. Taking part in the meeting were Alexander Bedny, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Lobachevsky University, Irina Leonova, Head of the UNN International Affairs Department, Maxim Bezaev, Deputy Director of the Department for External Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Government, Natalia Polyashova, Head of the Department for Civiс and Patriotic Education and Social and Legal Protection of Children at the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as a number of leading officials of the Ministry. Alexander Bedny made a presentation about the history of the university and its current state and achievements, about the opportunities that UNN provides to citizens of foreign countries for training in various areas of studies. In the course of a lively dialogue, the forum participants representing different countries of the world, international students of Lobachevsky University shared their experience of studying in Russia and answered numerous questions from the guests. On the same day, the guests visited the Simulation Center for Continuing Medical Education at the UNN Center for Innovation Development of Medical Instrument Engineering. Dr. Alexander Korzhevsky, Head of the Simulation Center, has demonstrated to forum participants the capabilities of high-tech equipment used to train medical professionals according to highest international standards.
