The International Congress of Student Youth "Interdialog. Origins" opened in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on November 1. This event is organised in the framework of the UNN project, which won the All-Russian Youth Project Competition in 2025.

The congress is attended by 110 students from 35 different regions of Russia, including Murmansk, Yekaterinburg, Belgorod, Kazan, Syktyvkar, Lugansk, Irkutsk, Orel, Samara, Kursk and other regions, as well as students from the Belarusian State University of Physical Education. The delegation from Lobachevsky University, as the organising university, is led by Rector Oleg Trofimov.

As part of the opening ceremony, Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, addressed the audience. She welcomed the participants and wished them interesting discussions, creative initiatives and useful acquaintances that could possibly develop into new joint projects.

The event that originated on the initiative of Nizhny Novgorod universities in 2008 has taken place annually since then and has established itself as a tradition, bringing together young people who strive to create and promote initiatives that strengthen friendly ties and enhance cooperation between countries.

The main topic of the congress that will last until November 5 focuses on promoting family values, cultivating an interest in family history, and passing down traditions across generations. Belarus and Russia are linked by centuries-old ties of friendship, shared feats during the Great Patriotic War, and a common cultural and historical heritage.
