Lobachevsky University Launched Mobile Assistant Social Project 

On August 17, UNN Typhloinformation Centre hosted the presentation of the Mobile Assistant social project. The project is aimed at teaching visually impaired and blind individuals to use modern gadgets. 

Participants of the project will attend a three-month course on non-visual operation of smartphones: sending and receiving messages, receiving calls, etc. Experts will conduct topical workshops and consultations on software configuration. At the end of the course, there will be a contest titled “In Word and in Gesture”. 

The Mobile Assistant Social Project was designed by the Camerata Nizhny Novgorod Regional Rehabilitation Centre for Visually Impaired.
