A unique programme "Artificial Intelligence School" for high school students in grades 9-11 will start in October at Lobachevsky University. The educational programme is organised as part of the NEIMARK IT Campus pilot project. Applications for participation can be submitted until 17 October.

According to Nikolay Zolotykh, school leader, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Mechanics (IITMM) and head of the Cognitive Systems Master's programme (jointly run by UNN with the Yandex Data Analysis School), students will learn the basics of building artificial intelligence and machine learning systems and will be able to build such systems themselves.

"The first class will be held in October. The classes are free, but we plan to select our students for this programme. So if you are a high school student and want to develop artificial intelligence applications yourself, come and join us!" said Nikolay Zolotykh.

Those who have applied and have been selected will receive lectures on the basics of machine learning and practical lessons on Python, its libraries and frameworks (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras, torch). The classes will be taught by experienced teachers and representatives of IT companies.
