Lobachevsky University listed among the world’s best universities in Round University Ranking
Lobachevsky University has been listed among the top 400 universities in the world according to the 2018 Round University Ranking (RUR) in the field "Life Sciences" (355th position), while in the category "Teaching Quality" it has confidently placed itself in the "golden league" of world universities (148th position). In the framework of the ranking study, a system of 20 activity indicators in various areas, including "Teaching", "Studies", "Internationalization", "Financial Sustainability", etc., was used for comprehensive analysis of university performance. Each university in the RUR ranking receives a unique score with an accuracy of 3 decimal places and a position. In 2018, the final list in the field of "Life Sciences" included 569 universities from 67 countries.
According to UNN Rector, Professor Evgeny Chuprunov, the University in recent years has been successfully developing research and education in the field of natural sciences and the humanities.
“While the global educational space is becoming more and more complex, and the range of educational programs offered by leading universities of the world is constantly expanding, our indicators in the 2018 ranking confirm the consistently high international level of education and research at the University.
