Lobachevsky University listed in the National Aggregated Ranking in 24 subject areas
The Guild of Experts in Professional Education has released the National Aggregated Ranking of Russia’s higher education institutions. The Aggregated Ranking considers eight separate ratings compiled on the basis of open databases and satisfying the requirements of publicity (full information is presented in the public domain), stability (ratings exist for at least three years and are periodically assessed), and mass character (no less than 100 HEIs are evaluated):
- subject rating based on the results of professional public accreditation;
- subject rating "Assessment of the quality of education";
- subject rating by Hirsch index;
- RAEX subject rating;
- subject rating "First mission";
- global aggregate ranking by subject (GAR; Russian universities);
- subject rating "National recognition";
- subject rating by SuperJob.
Also, a new methodology of rating aggregation is used, which involves, among other things, a transition from places in the ratings to leagues. Lobachevsky University entered the ranking in 24 subject areas, being in the premier league in 10 of them. It ranks 1st in physics and astronomy among 86 universities, and 1st in biological sciences among 120 universities.
