Lobachevsky University listed in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings
For the third year in a row, Lobachevsky University is listed in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, one of the most authoritative global university ratings. This year, it is in the band 1001+, and according to the criterion "Interaction with industrial partners" it is ranked 456th in the list of the world’s best universities. It ranks 18th among Russian universities. Over the past year, the number of Russian universities in the world ranking has increased from 27 to 35. A large proportion of Russian higher education institutions is represented in this ranking by the universities participating in the 5-100 project. A total of 1,250 universities from 86 countries were included in this year’s rating. Russia’s leader in the ranking is the Lomonosov Moscow State University that occupies the 199th position.

To a large extent, this is due to UNN’s participation in the Russian Academic Excellence Project 5-100 that has contributed to creating entirely new conditions and opportunities at the University for the implementation of breakthrough technologies and the development of international activities", comments Professor Evgeny Chuprunov, Rector of the UNN.
