Lobachevsky University listed in the top 300 of Round University Ranking in Humanities

According to the results of the RUR Subject Rankings, Lobachevsky University confirmed its status of a "new classical" university by strengthening its positions in traditional natural science disciplines. It has also demonstrated rapid growth in the Humanities area, becoming one of the leaders among Russian universities. In the field of Humanities, UNN was ranked 6th among Russian universities and 296th in the world ranking in 2021, entering the top 300 (RUR Silver league of universities). In the previously published RUR subject rankings, UNN has improved its performance in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences and Technical Sciences.

Round University Ranking (RUR) is an international system of university ranking, which measures performance of 1150 leading world universities by 20 indicators across 4 key missions: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability. All source data for the RUR ranking are provided by the international company Thomson Reuters. The ranking covers the period from 2010 to the present.
