Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod is taking part in the 8th Annual National Exhibition "Vuzpromexpo-2021". The largest scientific and educational exhibition is held on December 8-10 in Sochi at the Sirius Park of Science and Art during the Young Scientists Congress. The exhibition is organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. More than one hundred organisations are participating in the event, including the winners of the Priority 2030 programme, world-class research centres, STI competence centres, engineering centres established at Russian educational and scientific organisations, as well as industrial companies.

This year, the event's business programme is focused on discussing the implementation of the Science and Universities national project in 2021 and the Priority 2030 programme. Elena Zagaynova, Rector of Lobachevsky University, leads the UNN delegation that also includes Mikhail Shiryaev, Vice-Rector for Innovation, Mikhail Ivanchenko, Vice-Rector for Research, heads of research projects and university scientists.

The UNN stand will showcase some samples of high-tech products: "Cardiomayak" hardware and software system to monitor cardiac activity, a series of VR applications - immersive technologies for industry and education, as well as an intelligent control system for sugar production using artificial intelligence.

Concurrently with Vuzpromexpo 2021, the Young Scientists Congress will be held in Sochi. It will bring together representatives of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, research and educational organisations, authorities, industrial partners, outstanding leaders of national science, and, most importantly, young scientists, winners of grant competitions, students and schoolchildren who have achieved significant results in their research.

The business programme of the Congress will include round tables, sessions, discussions, and educational events on various areas of research. Young scientists from Lobachevsky University will take part in this final event of the Year of Science and Technology.
