Lobachevsky University ranked among Russia’s most influential universities

Lobachevsky University was included in the list of the most influential Russian universities according to RAEX ranking agency (RAEX-Analytics) where it was ranked 38th.

The list features the universities that hold the most weight in forming the country’s elites, as well as among the  academic community, young people and the Internet audience.  The final list includes 75 higher education institutions in Russia.

The ranking is based on 14 criteria, the initial data for which were obtained through a survey of universities and collection of information from independent sources. These include the monitoring of graduate employment by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Wikipedia, web analytics by the Alexa company, social networks, RAEX data on the number of graduates in managerial positions in major Russian companies, as well as data from foreign and Russian scientometric sources. The ranking is based solely on objective indicators and does not use subjective surveys of respondents.
