Lobachevsky University ranked among Russia's top 20 universities

According to the recent data of the international Round University Ranking (RUR), Lobachevsky University holds the 19th position among all Russian universities. The university stands 662nd in the global ranking. The RUR ranking assesses over 1,200 universities, including world leaders.

The evaluation is based on four criteria: education (40%), research (40%), financial sustainability (10%) and internationalisation (10%). Each area includes five indicators. Compared to last year,  Lobachevsky University's financial sustainability has improved by 50 points, and UNN has gone up by 106 points in the research track.

Along with Lobachevsky University, the ranking also lists two other higher education institutions from Nizhny Novgorod: Privolzhsky Research Medical University and Minin University.
