Lobachevsky University ranked among the top 10 Russian universities by the salaries of its graduates working in the IT sector

In the new ranking compiled by SuperJob, Lobachevsky University was included in the top 10 of Russian universities in terms of salaries for recent graduates in the IT industry.

The ranking features 71 higher education institutions from different cities in Russia.  Analysts took into account the salaries of young professionals employed in the IT industry, who graduated from universities in 2016-2021. The highest places were given to universities with alumni who became Nobel laureates and whose students were winners of major international student Olympiads.

Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod retained 9th place in terms of average graduate salaries that increased by 20,000 roubles over the year and are now at the level of 155,000 roubles per month.

UNN students prove the quality of education at our university to the whole world.  For example, in 2021 they won first place in the International Collegiate Programming Championship - ICPC. The average score for the USE required for admission to the university in 2021 was 82.1.

The ranking also takes into account the proportion of graduates looking for work in the city where they studied. Nizhny Novgorod shows high rates: this proportion for Lobachevsky University graduates is 78%.
