Lobachevsky University’s successful debut at AtomSkills 2026 Championship: UNN student wins bronze
The 11th International Professional Skills Championship AtomSkills 2026, one of the major competitions in the field of high technologies organised by Rosatom State Corporation, was held in Yekaterinburg. This year, Lobachevsky University made a successful debut at the championship. Alexander Ivlev, a master's student at the UNN Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics (IITMM), won a bronze medal in the "Quantum Technologies" category, one of the most challenging and promising areas.
He was prepared for the competition by two experts: Dmitry Pashin, a researcher at the UNN Physics and Technology Research Institute and an assistant at the Department of Quantum and Neuromorphic Technologies at the UNN Faculty of Physics, and Alexey Linev, a senior lecturer at the IITMM Department of High-Performance Computing and System Programming and the head of the Volga Research and Education Centre for Supercomputer Technologies.
Alexey Likhachev, CEO of Rosatom, personally presented the awards to the winners.
