Alexander Dubkov, Professor of the UNN Department "Mathematical Methods in Radiophysics", and Dmitry Filatov, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Memristor Nanoelectronics, took part in the 9th International Scientific Conference "Unsolved Problems on Noise" (UPoN 2024) at Obuda University (Budapest, Hungary). They gave invited talks and presented break-out session reports. A total of 43 participants from Hungary, USA, Australia, Russia, Germany, Italy, China, UK, Israel, Lithuania, Poland, Canada, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Japan, France presented their papers.

In particular, the reports of Lobachevsky University researchers included the results achieved in developing stochastic models of memristive devices.  This work was performed under the research programme of the National Centre for Physics and Mathematics ("Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Technical, Industrial, Natural and Social Systems").

The general topics of the conference covered noise in quantum systems, in nanostructures, in biology and biomedicine, in sensor systems, etc. The next conference of this series is scheduled to be held in Messina (Italy) in 2027.
